This fine copy of Van Loon's metallic history of the Netherlands bears the arms of Chancellor d'Aguesseau, to whom it belonged. Remaining in the family until the French Revolution, it came into the possession of the famous antiquarian Millin, upon whose death it was sold at auction with the other books making up the library.
